Is Your Talent Working Hard?

Is Your Talent Working Hard?

My friend Charles Isidi was talking to me about how talent is just never enough. You can have brilliant ideas, great talent, but if you are not willing to put in the discipline and commitment required, you  will not grow beyond a certain level.⁣

Hardwork also includes putting systems and structures around things to ensure that it produces the highest possible  result.⁣ Systems and structures could be going the extra mile to learn more about your craft, and consistently showing up with it. It could be registering that business. It could be putting structures to ensure that you finish that book by a certain time and implement the best possible marketing strategy to get it to as many people as possible. It could be signing up for a course, getting a coach or learning an industry relevant skill so you can further stand out in your field.

It could take on different shapes based on your journey.
⁣ ⁣
“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”⁣

Is your talent working hard?⁣
