God is aware of your dreams.

God is aware of your dreams.

I had an interesting experience earlier this year. I found myself having strong passions and desires for things I had never given much thought to. I started writing dreams and goals that were way bigger than me but decided not to share them with anyone because I did not want to be discouraged. I did not want anyone to give me reasons why what I was planning to do were impossible. So I just wrote them down and started doing research on how to achieve them.

I did not want anyone to give me reasons why what I was planning to do were impossible. So I just wrote them down and started doing research on how to achieve them.

Some weeks later, a Pastor friend called me (Pastor Tim) to discuss something and afterwards I asked if he could pray with me. During the prayer, he started prophesying and when he finished I realised that every single thing he said, matched the dreams and desires I had been writing in my journal. I realised that those desires were not really mine. They were God’s and he just shared them with me because I am part of his workmanship.

Since then, I have learnt to guard and be more conscious of my desires and passions because sometimes it can be God expressing his desires and the work he wants me to do with him to me. I think when we renew our mind and spend time in his presence, a lot of the things we do,want, think or say will be godly without us even thinking twice about it. We wouldn’t have to worry about whether our motive is right or how these things will happen because we know that we are co-labourers of a great God taking part in his plans and desire for the earth.

It is a great privilege.

Guard your heart, meditate on the word and never forget that you are God’s workmanship. If you find yourself having dreams or passions that are bigger than you, remember that the one who gave you those dreams is more than capable of bringing them to pass.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God. The gate way to a man’s heart is by what he sees (The sight: books we read, movies we see….) and what we hear ( Earring). God is everywhere but his manifest presence is not everywhere. We need to condition our environment to receive from him.
